The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), a Federal grant-making agency, is seeking a contractor to design and conduct a survey that will assist NEH in assessing the extent to which NEH programs and operations are meeting the needs of its external customers (e.g., educational institutions, museums, private individuals, etc.). Among the tasks the contractor will assist in are: (1) Sample design and selection; (2) questionnaire design; (3) OMB clearance of survey instrument; (4) data collection; (5) tabulation of survey results; and (6) analysis of findings. It is anticipated that the contract period will extend from approximately September 15, 1997 through January 31, 1998. The solicitation package, NEH-97-SURVEY, will be available on July 11, 1997, and offers are due to be submitted by the close of business on August 11, 1997. All requests for copies of the solicitation MUST be in writing and received at the National Endowment for the Humanities, 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW., Room 202, Washington, DC 20506, by JULY 10, 1997.
