Ferris, Code 3323, (301) 227-3602 The overall objective of this work is to develop procedures to generate the Surf Zone Environmental Representation through a system of linked numerical models, historical databases, and near-real time observations. The primary ocean surface representation and visualization software platform to be used and enhanced under this contract is NSWCCD's Wavemaker computer program -- a 40,000-line, C++, Object-Oriented code. Innovative Graphics System, Inc's Principal Engineer developed the existing software. Documentation does not presently exist. The deliverable of this acquisition will enable competition in the future. Current detailed knowledge of the software/science is required for the timely execution of these tasks. The Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to award a sole source contract to Innovative Graphics Systems, Inc. in the amount of $245,000.00. See Note 22. (0170)
