Butler, 202-408-2583 The Federal Housing Finance Board (Finance Board), and independent federal agency that regulates the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLBank) System, intends to award a fixed price contract to Katten, Muchin & Zavis in support of the compensation and benefit survey to be undertaken in connection with the Finance Board's final rule in the Selection and Compensation of FHLBank Employees (62 Fed. Reg.4 (Jan. 2, 1997)). This requirement is for consulting services to analyze and provide recommendations concerning the benefits packages for FHLBank and Office of Finance employees. Katten, Muchin & Zavis is the only known source with the knowledge and requisite expertise in FHLBank and Office of Finance benefits and system issues to meet the Finance Board's requirement and is the only known source capable of providing the services within the required period in order to avoid unacceptable delays in the Finance Board's implementation of the Finance Board's final rule on the selection and compensation of FHLBank and Office of Finance employees.
