W -- EQUIPMENT RENTAL W/OPERATOR SOL SOL R6-6-97-052Q DUE 070997 POC Contracting Section, 503/668-1621 This work consists of rental, by the hour, of an excavator and journeyman operator. The project consists of removal of culverts, which becomes the property of the Contractor, recontouring of road slopes (only on the 1350), side cast material, and log landings pulled back (only on the 1350). The work on the 3520 and 4890220 and 221 consists of pulling the culverts and constructing water bars, construction of a trail 60" wide at the upper end of water bars and the trench left from the removal of culverts, placement of large rocks or logs at the beginning of the project to stop vehicles from using the road but still having the 60" trail. Estimated contract time is approximately 30 calendar days. Estimated Start Work Date is July 15, 1997. See Numbered Notes 1&2. (0170)
