PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE- The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, supplies, equipment, materials, transportation and labor and the completion of all work to provide a lined secondary containment system for two bulk storage tanks by altering the present unlined pavement -over-earth dike and basin system. Work includes, but is not limited to, removing the pavement from the surface of the present dikes and removing the stone from the basin areas. Replace the existing storm drain system with a new system. Remove the present stairs over the dikes and install new after the installation of the liner. Regrade the basin areas, then place sand base, membrane liner, geotextile fabric with crushed stone on the fabric. Finish the exterior of the dikes with shotcrete. All work to be performed at Otis Air National Guard Base, Falmouth, Massachusetts. Performance period is for one hundred (100) days after receipt of the Notice To Proceed. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This solicitation is unrestricted. All interested parties qualified to perform work under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 1629 with an average annual gross revenue of $17 Million for the last three fiscal years (Heavy Construction) should notify this office, in writing, of their interest to bid the project as the prime contractor as early as possible but no later than July 9, 1997.
