This solicitation invites proposals for the replacement of two 190 ton chillers and cooling towers along with all associated piping, pumps, controls, etc. at the Main Post Office, 525 Eighth Street, Augusta, GA. Work includes removal and disposal of asbestos insulation from existing piping and cooling tower panels. Actual work is to start in October 1997. Contractor will be required to coordinate and phase work inorder to not interefere with Postal operations. The estimated base cost of this project is between $300,000 and $450,000 with completion within 160 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
