SOL N67811-97-B-8536 DUE 081197 POC Mike Schriefer, Contract Specialist (619)532-4032/Alice Barker, Contracting Officer, (619)532-4900 DESCRIPTION OF WORK -- The work includes the installation of two aboveground, 12,000 gallons each, horizontal single wall steel JP5 fuel storage tanks for bulk loading and off loading at the fuel farm area. Each tank is to be installed inside a prefabricated concrete containment vault (110% tank capacity), suitable for aboveground or underground installation. The storage tanks and associated equipment, piping, valves and electrical wiring will be tied into existing JP5 fuel filtration and separator systems. The work is located at the Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, Arizona. The estimated cost is between $ 250,000.00 and $500,00.00 -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. Contract Duration is approximately 150 calendar days. This proposed contract will be unrestricted. -- The standard industrial Code 1629 and the annual size standard is $17 million.
