(619)532-4900 DESCRIPTION OF WORK -- The work includes the installation
of two aboveground, 12,000 gallons each, horizontal single wall steel
JP5 fuel storage tanks for bulk loading and off loading at the fuel
farm area. Each tank is to be installed inside a prefabricated concrete
containment vault (110% tank capacity), suitable for aboveground or
underground installation. The storage tanks and associated equipment,
piping, valves and electrical wiring will be tied into existing JP5
fuel filtration and separator systems. The work is located at the
Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, Arizona. The estimated cost is between
$ 250,000.00 and $500,00.00 -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. Contract
Duration is approximately 150 calendar days. This proposed contract
will be unrestricted. -- The standard industrial Code 1629 and the
annual size standard is $17 million. Bidders should request in writing
stating IFB number N68711-97-B-8536, with complete name, address, area
code and phone number and whether bidding as a prime/subcontractor /
supplier. -- Telephone requests will not be accepted. -- The fee
charged for plans and specifications will be $ 14.00. -- The fee will
be non-refundable. -- The Plan and Issue personnel will only accept
Visa/Master Card, cashiers checks and money orders as payment for plans

requests will be accepted but, WILL NOT be processed until your check
has been received by this office. -- Submit one (1) check per project.
-- Solicitation packages are limited to two (2) sets per prime and one
(1) set per subcontractor/supplier. -- Bidders responding under this
advertisement will not be required to resubmit request once formally
advertised. -- Tentative issue date is on or about 10 July 1997 with an
opening date of approximately 30 days later (NOTE: BOD stated above is
TENTATIVE). -- Responses are due no later than 15 calendar days after
