The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure under other than full and open competition procedures the following items: 0001 Desktop Image Scanning System XV4000, 6 each; 0002 Rackmounted 17" SVGA Color Monitor, 6 ea; 0003 Rackmounted Controller, 6 ea; 0004 Installation/Training, 4 ea; 0005 Warranty Upgrade for 1 year, 5 ea; 0006 Scanner Spare Kit 1, lot. Government intends to solicit and negotiate with MICRODISK Inc. of Yardley, PA as the OEM and the only known source capable of meeting the Government's minimum needs as to quality output, ruggedized resistance for shipboard use, and design and performance compatibility with existing systems.
