This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and is being issued on a sole source basis to the Quinn Company. The Solicitation number for this acquisition is N47408-97-Q-1475 and is issued as a Request for Quote. The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The SIC for this acquisition is 7353 and the size standard is $5,000,000.00. The work to be done is inspection and repair/rehabilitation of four pieces of Navy equipment in accordance with the Inspection/Estimating Guide and Statement of Work provided for each piece of equipment. The first Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) is 0001 for Truck Trac 84000, USN #9638330. CLIN 0002 is for a 60 Ton Lowbed Trailer, USN #97-30873. CLIN 0003 is for a Concrete Mixer 8CY, USN #24-02949. CLIN 0004 is for a Concrete Mixer 8CY, USN #24-02968. After inspection using the provided Inspection/Estimating guide, the contractor shall immediately notify the Contracting Officer if any further maintenance will be required to insure that all of the units will operate safely and efficiently. The contractor shall provide inspection and cost estimates for the repair of each unit. The contractor shall provide transportation for the equipment to and from the contractor's facility. All equipment inspections and repair shall be completed within 60 days from award of contract.
