Manager 518-563-0860 The General Services Administration is soliciting bids to furnish and install two-five vehicle impact barriers with the following specifications. 1. Impact barriers shall be of the same type and construction as QuadGard system tested to NCHRP 350 TL-3, Redirective, non-gating, Terminals and Crash cushions Standards and approved by the FHWA. NCHRP 350 Test Level of TL-1 60kph OR 37mph or equal. 2. Contractor shall install the new impact barriers shutting down no more than one inspection booth operation at a time. Contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer or his delegated representative three days prior to starting construction. 3. Contractor shall anchor the impact barriers below the existing concrete base and in compliance with all the installation specifications required for the QuadGard impact barriers or equal product. All work shall be done in the best practices of the trade. Work completion is 8/30/97. (0170)
