CHANGE TO SENIOR FIRE SUPPORT CONFERENCE DATES 1. Due to a change in the schedule for Army Warfighting Experiments (AWEs)leading to the November 1997 Division AWE at Fort Hood, Texas, the Senior Fire Support Conference, originally scheduled for 15 through 19 September at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, will be changed to dates yet to be determined. As the July-August edition of the Field Artillery Journal was going to press, the Army announced the expanded AWE schedule, requiring Fort Sill officials to shift the conference time. As soon as the new conference dates are determined, interested parties will find the announcement on the Fort Sill Home Page at http://sill-www.army.mil/index.htm and in later editions of the Field Artillery journal and this publication. Invitations to the conference will be sent to all Army corps and Marine Expeditionary Force(MEF)commanders; Reserve Component (RC), Active Component (AC)Army and Marine division commanders; selected retired general officers; Training and Doctrine Command school commandants; AC and RC corps artillery,Field Artillery brigade, division artillery and Marine regimental artillery commanders and their command sergeants major; and US Field Artillery Association Corporate members. Corporate members and other companies also may have displays at the conference.
