Z -- MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, AND ALTERATION OF REAL PROPERTY SOL DE-FB65-97WJ33252 DUE 080697 POC Cheryl Smith (970) 490-7523 The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, equipment, and other resources necessary to complete the Derby Hill and Loveland Substation Consolidation. The work consists of removing concrete foundations, steel structures, electrical equipment, transmission tapline; excavation for foundations and trenches, backfill and gravelfill; concrete for foundations; galvanized welded steel structures; installing Government-furnished transformers,, interrupters, and duplex switchbooards; furnishing and installing circuit switches, disconnecting switches, voltage transformers, and surge arresters, grounding system, conduit, insulated conductors and cables, bus systems, and substation lighting; repairing service building; and modifying tap structures and approach spans. This project will be performed in Larimar County, Colorado. The estimated order of magnitude of this project is between $500K and $1M. The solicitation, specifications and drawings willbe issued in hard copy FREE OF CHARGE. NOTE: In accordance with Western's Acquisition Handbook, "Western procurement officials shall limit availability of solicitations." Therefore, only a LIMITED NUMBER of copies of this solicitation will be available to be distributed by this office. Copies of this solicitation will be issued on a "first-come, first-served basis". All work for all of the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) must be completed NLT within 240 calendar days. Western issues a "Notice to Proceed". All the CLINs will be delivery FOB destination. There will be only one award made from this solicitation. Therefore, all Bidders must submit their bids on an "all or none basis". This solicitation will be issued on or about July 03, 1997.
