the application of management science and material development and
integration disciplines to aid the Weapon Systems Manager to assure
that the development process is fully integrated with respect to
design, test and evaluations, production, operation and 1ogistic
support of the program under consideration. Support shall be provided
in the areas of program management, systems engineering (hardware and
software), software development, system test and evaluation,
vulnerability and operational requirements analysis, technical
analysis, technical and program documentation, cost
estimating/analysis, integrated logistics, fielding, and DoD mission
support. The work requires knowledge and experience in the materiel
development of physical security equipment in order to meet unique
requirements of each of the DoD Components and other Federal agencies
supported by PSEMO. A1l work to be performed under the anticipated
Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) labor hour contact
contract will be accomplished in accordance with written Task Orders
issued by the Contracting Officer. The period of performance will be
for 12 months with four (4) one-year options. To be eligible for award
an Offeror must be capable of processing task orders and begin
performance of work not later than sixty(60) days after date of award
of contract. Additionally, the successful Offeror must have a Top
Secret Facilities Clearance at time of award. Award will not be delayed
to allow an otherwise successful Offeror an opportunity to receive a
pending clearance. All requests for the solicitation shall be in
writing. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be
considered. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be made available mid &
late July. It is anticipated that the following labor categories will
be required to perform on this effort: Program Manager, Senior Security
Advisor, Project Leaders, Senior Programmer, Senior Analyst, Senior
Logistics Analyst, Senior Engineer, Senior Security Specialist,
Programmers, Engineers, Analysts, Junior Programmers, Junior Engineers,
Junior Analysts, Junior Security Specialists, Budget/Cost Analyst,
Senior Hardware Technicians, Field Electronics Technician, Test
Engineers, Draftsmen, Senior Technician/Graphic Illustrator,
Technician/Graphic Illustrator, and Word Processor Operator. A
description of the qualifications for each labor categories will be
posted on the bulletin board and web page listed below. A RFP will not
