Q -- MOBILE MAMMOGRAPHY SERVICES SOL N00168-97-Q-S849 DUE 070797 POC Tracy Holland, Contracting Officer (301) 295-6490 The National Naval Medical Center is seeking a source to provide Mobile Mammography Services to support Naval Medical Clinic, located on the Marine Corps Base at Quantico, Virginia. Mammography services to include up to twenty (20) examinations daily in a eight (8) hour period. Services should include radiologist reports, operators, technicians and radiologists interpretation of xrays. The Contractor shall provide a Mobile Mammography Unit (MMU) and be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the unit. The Contractor shall operate the MMU and willprovide film, developing supplies and any other support medical supplies necessary to perform mammography services under this requirement. Thjis MMU shall be transported and located on, Government property. The MMU shall be of sufficient capacity to ensure a normal range of mammography procedures, to include radiographic procedures, operators, technicians, radiologist interpretation of x-rays, radiologists report, film, breast examinations and patient education. The Contractor is responsible for placement of the mobile facility, to include leveling and connection of all utility sources and any other steps to make the unit operational. Government personnel will be available to provide assistance in the set-up process as needed. The final responsibility for the placement and set up shall remain with the Contractor. The period of performance will be from date of award through 30 Sept 1997. There will also be two (2), one year renewable options for this requirement.
