The Contractor shall furnish and install one security barrier log boom across the width of the Colorado River on the downstream side of Hoover Dam. The successful quoter shall furnish and install a security barrier log boom system with accessories; in accordance with this Request for Quotation (RFQ) and all specifications at Hoover Dam. Hoover Dam is located about 30 miles southeast ofLas Vegas, Nevada and approximately 11 miles along Highway 93 from Boulder City, Nevada in Clark County. Price will include the cost of installing and delivering of all material required to install a security barrier log boom except the cost of the anchoring system. The anchoring system will be supplied by the Government. Materials shall include barrier logs, attachments, shock weights, exclusion area signs, warning stakes with holders for visibility during the daylight hours, solar-powered beacon warning lights, and two-inch wide fluorescent tape strips for visibility during the night. The estimated range of constructionis $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered.
