Bureau of Indian Affairs, Project No. G00-4192(1)B, East Hominy Bridge,
begins about 2.5 miles east of Hominy, Oklahoma, east of State Highway
(S.H.) 99, near the south quarter, corner of Section 33, T23N, R9E, of
the Indian Base and Meridian, and extends northeasterly about 0.35
mile. This project consists of grade, drain, culvert installation, a
200 foot long prestressed concrete bridge, constructing aggregate base,
asphalt paving, signing, fencing, sodding, and stripping on 0.31 mile
of bridge approach roadways. The estimated cost of construction is
between $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. Request bid documents on or after
July 07, 1997. The request should be accompanied with a $50.00
(non-refundable) cashier's check, certified check, or money order made
payable to the "Bureau of Indian Affairs", Muskogee Area Office,
Division of Administration, Contracts, Room 437, 101 N. 5th St.,
Muskogee, OK 74401-6206. Cash, Personal or Company Check, are not
acceptable. Bid opening will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 1997, 10:00
a.m., Local time at the place of bid opening, Room 410, U.S. Courthouse
and Federal Building, 101 N. 5th Street, Muskogee, OK 74401-6206.

All responsible sources may submit an offer. Section 7(b) of Public Law
93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450e) and 41 CFR 14-1.354 requires preference
opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaska
Native Individuals and that preference in the award of subcontracts be
given to Indian/Alaska Native Economic Enterprises. A Pre-Bid
Conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., July 22, 1997, Room 410, U. S.
Courthouse and Federal Building, 101 N. 5th Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma
74401-6206. There will be no other scheduled pre-bid conference and all
interested bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the conference.
