The work to be performed includes the following principal features: Design, fabrication, and erection of a 1,000,000 gallon elevated storage tank complete with concrete foundations, aircraft warning lights, and cathodic protection system. Construct a pump house, altitude valve chamber concrete box structure, and other structures as shown on drawings. Furnish and install pumps, pump controls, exhaust fans, gas heaters, and other equipment and controls as indicated on the drawings and as specified. Relocate the water distribution system pump control system. Install new pad mounted transformers. Modify electrical distribution system as shown on drawings. Connect water lines to existing water mains near the pumphouse. Place system into operation. The foregoing outline of principal features does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all materials required or associated with this type of work. This project is subject to the availability of funds (SAF). Estimated issue date is 5 Aug 97. A non-refundable fee of $50.00 will be charged for each bid package requested by a bidder. Such fees shall be in the form of check or postal money order payable to the U.S. Treasury and mailed to Directorate of Contracting, Contract Support Division, ATZR-QD (Dewayne Cochrane), PO Box 33189, Fort Sill, OK. 73503-0189.
