U-MEETING ON PROPOSED CONSORTIUM ON DIVERSITY AND AFFIRMATIVE ACTION IN HIGHER EDUCATION June 30 -- The American Council on Education, the U.S. Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI) of the U.S. Department of Education and the Harvard University Civil Rights Project will host a public meeting to bring together individuals who have played significant roles in organizing conferences, symposia and other meetings designed to support the use of affirmative action to foster racial and ethnic diversity in higher education. The meeting will be held in the Board Room of the OERI Policies and Priorities Board, 80 F Street, NW, Washington, DC from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
