Construct a government-furnished recreation cabin. Cabin kit is precut 3"x6" T&G Western Red Cedar, 15 ft. x 17 ft. with half loft from Forest Service Region 10 standard drawings. Work includes excavation for and installation of foundation posts. Project is located on Red Bay Lake, north Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. Access to Red Bay Lake is by float plane or 1/2 mile trail and 1 mile by boat from Road 20. Vehicle access to Prince of Wales Island is by Alaska Marine Highway to Hollis. The Red Bay Trailhead is approximately 120 miles from Hollis, Alaska. The cabin kit will be delivered to Red Bay Lake by the Forest Service. Contract time is 60 calendar days.
