Berlanga, (210) 652-2491/4020 The project provides for minor construction, architectural and refrigeration upgrade to existing commissary facility building number 251 at Los Angeles AFB CA. The work to be done includes but is not limited to the following: An upgraded Sales Area, new decor and upgrade of the patron waiting/check writing area, construct new administration offices, new health beauty alcove, and other offices in the warehouse; lighting upgrade; and replacement of the refrigeration equipment including the compresor racks, refrigeration monitoring control system; HVAC; plumbing and electrical work is also required. This project also includes miscellaneous repairs as well as some hazardous material abatement. Phasing of overall construction work will be required through the duration of the project to allow for full operation of the commissary. This acquisition is unrestricted and is open to both large and small business concerns. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Bid gurantee is required. All responsible bidders meeting the criteria set forth in the solicitation may submit a bid which will be considered by the government. Bid package should be available on or about 11 July 1997.
