Synopsis 97-23: The work includes install a new fire sprinkler system to cover the entire building, including connection to water main, fire riser and fire alarm system. Replace 4 inch sewer drain from building to sewer manhole 73 with a new 6 inch line. Repair landscaping/sidewalk as required. Steam/pressure clean all existing drain pipes and grease interceptor in the building. Replace specified exhaust fans. Provide new controls, and electrical power to the new units. For all rain gutters of the building, provide new downspouts discharging, via horizontal piping, to the street surface; and incidental related work at Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach, CA by means of a firm fixed price contract.
