The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total shall not exceed 4 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition with a 10% preference for SDB concerns. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Governement intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1). This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within Federal Supply Class(see remarks). Automated Best Value Model (ABVM) applies. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price, part performance, delivery, Mentoring Business Program and Socioeconomic Program as de- scribed in the solicitation.
