B -- OTHER STUDIES AND ANALYSES SOL not applicable POC Elizabeth Clark Tel: (410) 965-59465 B -- Other Special Studies and Analyses -- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis a purchase order with Sociometrics Corporation for the completion of independent evaluations of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Outreach Demonstration Projects. The contractor shall prepare individual project process evaluations (IPPEs) as work project deliverables. IPPEs are process evaluations that document the individual project experiences. This work is interrelated to work that has been done in association with Sociometrics since 1991 and is currently being done under a contract awarded to Sociometrics by the Social Security Administration (SSA) in September 1996. Sociometrics is the only company intimately knowledgeable about the SSI and Outreach programs. Sociometrics has demonstrated its quality, efficiency, and extensive experience with the type of work that is required under the proposed purchase order and can assures SSA of a dependable quality product at agreat savings in cost and a faster turnaround on work in process. Sociometrics is the only known source capable of providing this service. A request for quotation is expected to be released approximately June 30, 1997. Other firms capable of providing these services must submit complete details of their capability services and any other pertinent data within 15 days of this announcement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will not pay for information received and no contract award will be made based on responses to this synopsis. (0176)
