The Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement to determine the cost, schedule, and design requirements for providing F/A-18-C/D/E/F and SH-60 platform unique interface requirements using a proprietary Global Positioning System Guidance Package developed under contract DAAH01-95-C-R156. The required delivery date for completion of the study is 17 October 1997. This effort is in support of the Air Electronics Program Office (PMA-209). This solicitation will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Litton Guidance and Control Systems Division. Litton Guidance and Control Systems Division is the only source that has the requisite knowledge, expertise, and qualifications to perform this effort. The contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures outlined in FAR part 13, and anticipated award date is 18 July 1997. See Note 26. (0176)
