B -- HIGHWAY SAFETY DESIGN AND OPERATIONS TRAINING COURSE SOL DTFH61-97-R-00077 POC Ms. Carmen Chireix (202)-366-0424 The objective of this requirement is to develop training materials for a 3-day, a 2-day, and a 1-day course on highway safety design, and to present two pilots and an estimated 40 training courses. The course materials shall be developed in two parts, the core modules and optional modules. The core modules will be basic modules presented in all courses. The optional modules shall be structured as untils that can be added to fit the specific training requirements for the individual agencies. The period of performance for this contract is 60 months. The APPROXIMATE due date for proposals is August 15, 1997. Proposals are due 4 weeks after release of the RFP.
