The work includes the providing all labor, transportation, supervision, material, and equipment necessary for performing all operations in connection with the repairing of replacing all damaged exterior wood surfaces, preparing and painting all exterior wood surfaces, metal handrails and lintels at the designated housing units. Existing exterior paint is lead based. This is an unrestricted solicitation subject to the evaluation criteria contained in DFARS 252.219-7008. Estimated cost range: $100,000 to $250,000. The applicable SIC and size standard is 1721 painting and paper hanging is 7.0 million. Bidders interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this project must submit their request with a Company Check, Certified Cashier's Check, or Money Order in the amount of $9.00 to: DEFENSE AUTOMATED PRINTING SERVICE (DAPS), BOX 40, BUILDING 83, NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE NEW LONDON, CT 06349-5040. Each check must be payable to the U.S. Treasury and annotated with the applicable solicitation number.
