Each simulator must consist of a quantity of 30 nonelectric, single-walled, 100 millesecond delay detonators (#12 commercial cap strength) connected in series using sealable molded plastic connectors. The delay detonators are sealed onto .118 diamter pyrotechnic lead (shock tube). First detonalter shall have a 100 feet of lead-in shcok tube and the remainin 29 detonators are on equal shock tube lengths of 5-8 feet. Plastic connectors are approximately 3 inches lone, are double slotted in the based and single slotted in the fastenable lid. The assembly is wrapped onto a fiberboard spool and packaged four per CNU-405/E ammunition box. The units are linked by laying the bitter end of the shock tube for the next detonator into the connector. The detonator from the previous shock tube is pressed into the connector's slot over the top of the shock tube in the bottom. The connector lid is then folded over and latched. First article, quantity of 40, may be procured with a 90-day delivery schedule. Production quantity of approximately 5000 will be required to be delivered within 180 days after award. F.O.B.
