survey seeking vendors for a portable flight inspection system. The
purpose of this synopsis is to determine whether there are sources
capable of meeting the Government's requirements as stated. The
requirements are: Commercial Off The Shelf/Non-Developmental Item
(COTS/NDI) equipment capable of conducting FAA Certifiable flight check
of Navigational Aids and Instrument Approaches. The system must be self
contained, very protable, lightweight and run on aircraft power. The
system should be computer based, contain VOR/ILS/marker beacon, GPS,
DME receivers, and be capable of collecting and storing data for
analysis incertification of air traffic control navigation and approach
