Contract is based on 1700 non-GYN specimens per year. Equipment must be stand alone, counter top in design. If the preparation system requires vortexing or additional external processing equipment, this must be provided in initial offer. Equipment must disperse, collect and transfer cells from a liquid medium to a microscope slide. Finished fixed slides must be ready for staining. System must present uniform cellular distribution, standardize collection methodology and preserve cellular morphology.
