Gravell, Contracting Officer, 512/326-6501 The Department of Veterans Affairs Austin Automation Center, Austin, Texas intends to negotiate sole source with Phoenix Software International for a perpetual software license. The license to be acquired is (E)JES/MVS; this product is JES3 print spool display software which is critical to the control of the Austin Automation Center operations. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that response to this synopsis with pricing and literature demonstrating the compatibility to the Phoenix (E)JES/MVS and the ability to meet the government's requirement.
