J -- MAINTENANCE ON AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT SOL F33601-97-R9024 POC Donna Payne, (937) 257-6147 ext. 4223 Repair and maintain various pieces of audio visual equipment manufactured by: Kodak, Sony, AVL, EiKi/Bell & Howell and Barco Projection Systems located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. A base period plus four one-year options may be awarded. Offerors must provide information in the form of certifications that they are in fact a "Certified" repair agency for servicing and or authorized to receive and ship the equipment to the manufacturer for the above listed manufacturers' equipment. Strict response times are required for items designated as "key equipment items". Replacement of equipment may also be required if repairs on "key" items cannot be accomplished on-site within a limited number of hours. "An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns,issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government Personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
