Geological Survey (USGS) has an ongoing sole source requirement for repair work on the research vessel Turning Tide. The contractor will be performing the following job on a fiberglass vessel approximately sized 56' x 17' weighing 34 tons. The sole source contractor will be hauling, washing and launching the boat including removal, overhaul and replacement of port engine through soft patch in overhang. Contractor will be removing and repairing all dry rot in the starboard cabin and paint the cabin to match existing. Due to urgency of this requirement, the notice will not post for 15 days (0177)
