Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has a requirement for
professional land services/right-of-way services throughout the eastern
coastal area of Louisiana (eastern coastal area of Louisiana includes
the following parishes: Livingston, Tangipahoa, St. Tammany,
Assumption, St. James, St. John, St. Charles, Orleans, St. Bernard,
Plaquemines, Jefferson, Lafourche, and Terrebonne). Worked to be
performed includes the development and submission of preliminary
landrights maps (Tobin base, tax assessor's or other standard ownership
map); developing and submitting ownership determinations; and/or
preparation and submission of possession statements to include a plat
or sketch of the subject property, description of visible boundries,
relationship explanations, and statements addressing acts of posession.
The proposed contract type will be an indefinite delivery-indefinite
quantity with a guaranteed minimum of $10,000.00 for the entire
contract period. The contract may be multiply awarded and shallinclude
a base year and three option years. Individual task orders will be
issued for all work performed under the contract. To be considered for
award the contractor must possess either a bachelor's degree and have
at least two years experience in right-of-way acquisition, mineral
lease play acquisition, or very similar activities; or a minimum of
four years of professional experience in right-of-way acquisition,
mineral lease play acquisition or very similar activities. The
following factors listed in descending order of importance will be used
to evaluate proposals received for award: 1) Prior experience in the
coastal portion of Louisiana; 2) Past performance; 3) Ability to
perform concurrent task orders while mainitaining a high level of
quality in work; 4) Proximity to the eastern coastal area of Louisiana
(as described herein); 5) Price. The RFP will be issued approximately
18 days from the date of this notice. All responsible sources may
