COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JUNE 30,1997 PSA#1877SYSTEMS '97 -- USA CATALOG SHOWCASE AND EXHIBITION: MUNICH, GERMANY,
OCTOBER 27-31, 1997 The U.S. Department of Commerce invites your
company to participate in Systems '97, in Munich, Germany, October
27-31, 1997, at the Munich Trade Center. This event is held in
conjunction with Kallman Associates, Inc. "Made in America" Pavilion.
To help U.S. computer firms enter or expand their sales in this market,
there are two ways to participate at Systems '97: (1) the USA Catalog
Showcase, and (2) as an Exhibitor. Systems '97 is the 16th Computer and
Communications International Trade Fair and Congress focusing on
software, hardware, and communications equipment. This show will
feature product themes ranging from systems software, integrated
software; application software, services; online/news media; global
telecommunications and networking; systems components and peripherals;
industrial solutions, and CAD/CAM products. In 1996 Systems attracted
more than 1,730 exhibitors from 30 countries, and 100,000 professional
visitors from 70 countries. If you are unable to travel to Systems '97,
and would like to introduce your company and product(s) in Europe and
other overseas markets as well as increase your export sales, we offer
the USA Catalog Showcase, the cost is only $400. The showcase is
available to attractively display your company's product literature and
distribute it to potential customers at the show. Business leads are
prescreened and registered according to your "marketing objectives,"
e.g., seeking direct sales, agent/distributors, dealer resellers,
and/or joint venture licensing partners, and provide you at the end of
the show a listing of business leads both in hard copy and diskette
with contact information on all persons who indicated an interest in
your company's product(s). As an Exhibitor the following booth options
are available: 3 x 5-meter booth @US$7,500; 5 x 6-meter booth @
US$14,000, or US$500 per square meter. The all-inclusive booth package
includes: display stand with hard panels framed in aluminum, blue
wall-to-wall carpeting, blue and red header with your company name in
white lettering, conference table and four upholstered chairs, one
lockable sales counter with sliding doors and storage beneath, one
spotlight per 3 square meters, one electrical outlet (220V, 50Hz, 10
amps), one 4-pocket literature rack, one ashtray and wastepaper basket,
cleaning and security services, staffed U.S. Exhibitors lounge with
complimentary beverages, assistance with shipping, travel, and hotel
accommodations, and full support of the local U.S. Commercial Service
office. Free company listings in the "Made in America" catalog, and on
the Kallman Munich Fairs web site http://www.munichfairs,usa.com will
also be included as part of registration. Applications are accepted on
a "first-come, first-served" basis, so interested firms are encouraged
to respond early. Also, should you decide to participate, you can
obtain a full page ad in the "Made In America" catalog at a cost of
$250, if you respond before July 25th. Participation closing date:
