INFORMATION EXCHANGE ON THE ADVANCED TECHNIQUES FOR PAINTING AND DEPAINTING DOD WEAPONS SYSTEMS The National Defense Center for Environmental Excellence (NDCEE), operated by Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), will present an information exchange on the Advanced Techniques for Painting and Depainting DOD Weapons Systems in support of the Department of Defense (DOD) Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP). This event will be held September 9-10, 1997, at the Holiday Inn, Johnstown, PA. This exchange will provide a forum for discussion of the advanced processes and materials being applied to the painting and depainting of DOD weapons systems. Details of ongoing activities will be given in paper presentations and poster sessions, as well as technology demonstrations. A session on integration of painting and depainting will also be held to discuss these operations and their relationship to associated technologies. A variety of advanced painting and depainting technologies will be demonstrated at CTC's Demonstration Factory on September 9, 1997. Attendees will have an opportunity to participate by submitting parts or samples to be coated or stripped during the demonstrations. Abstracts summarizing activities regarding painting and depainting issues are being accepted for paper and poster sessions. Time has also been allocated for vendors to demonstrate their technologies in the Demonstration Factory on September 9, 1997.
