A noncompetitive acquisition is proposed with Astronautics Corporation of America of Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53201. They are the current source for this item. A complete technical data package defining the manufacture and acceptance of this item is not available from the Army. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Any interested sources must submit documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from the listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with the item that will be physically and functionally interchangeable witht the item the current source supplies. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. (See Note 22) The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from Government to Industry. All interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from the CECOM EBB system. To become a user of the EBB, you will need an identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the EBB system. A user's identification code and password will be issued upon request along with instructions for downloading the EBB User's Manual. All requests must include (1) company name, (2) point(s) of contact name(s) and title(s), (3) return address(es) and (4) telephone number(s).
