A -- ARCHIVAL OF STRUCTURAL EXPERIMENTAL DATA SOL DSWA01-97-M-0436 POC Michael Richman, Negotiator, (703) 325-6671, Scott G. Morton, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-1200. The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) intends to award a sole-source contract to Applied Research Associates (ARA) for an effort entitled, "Archival of Structural Experimental Data." In performance of this effort, the contractor shall search and examine all of the atmospheric nuclear data sources in its possession for the period 1945 -- 1963. After examining these data sources, the contractor shall develop a program to archive the data with respect to instrumentation and structural loading. The effort will include preparations to examine self-recording pressure records. In addition, ARA will provide a review of the current activities to archive airblast data. ARA is uniquely qualified to perform this work. ARA personnel designed and fielded the self-recording gages during 1945 -- 1963 atmospheric tests. The original designers are required in order to recover portions of the recorded data that are still in their original form. See Note 22. A solicitation will be issued to ARA on or about 7 Jul97.
