On or about 30 July 1997, this office will issue Request for Proposals for the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity service contract for the MULTIPLE AWARD REMEDIATION CONCEPT (MARC) LONG-TERM OPERATION & MONITORING SERVICES CONTRACT. Work location will include areas servicing U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) customers within the Omaha District boundaries and existing Omaha District customers outside Omaha District boundaries, and for other USACE Districts (same boundary restrictions) upon request. Proposals will be received on or about 02 September 1997. This solicitation is unrestricted and open to both large and small business participation. The work will include the following: Operation and maintenance of contaminated groundwater treatment plants and associated extraction well fields to include incidental work, sewage treatment plants, long-term monitoring of groundwater monitoring wells, engineering/ geotechnical services in support of the operation and maintenance of these plants to provide engineering judgment for plant and well field optimization, and minor construction to support equipment replacement or upgrades. The estimated Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity service contract cost of this project is not to exceed a cumulative total of $14,500,000. Provisions will be included for a basic contract of 2 years and an option for 3 additional years. The proposal documents are available on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Limit one (1) per firm. Proposal documents will not be provided in a printed hard copy format.
