Garcia (301) 443-5116 The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is soliciting proposals in accordance with the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The proposed purchase order shall have a basic period of performance with one twelve (12) month option. AWARD OF A PURCHASE ORDER RESULTING FROM THIS SOLICITATION IS RESTRICTED UNDER THE PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE ACT, TITLE VII, SECTION 763 AS AMENDED BY P.L. 102-408 WHICH LIMITS AWARDS TO SCHOOLS OF MEDICINE, OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE, PUBLIC HEALTH, AND DENTISTRY. The purpose of the procurement is to plan, develop, and conduct a workshop, including logistical support, which will enable program directors of dental public health specialty training programs who currently are Federal grantees, those who are eligible for Federal funding, and those who represent public health agency-based and Federally sponsored programs, to discuss issued related to development of the dental public health residency programs and identify sources of support and information. The workshop will last approximately 2-3 days. Solicitation will be issued on or about July 11, 1997. The closing date will be on August 25, 1997, at no later than 4:00pm local prevailing time.
