Purpose of contract is to educate the public about the GFNMS by coordinating outreach, volunteer programs, and establishing visitor centers. Contract will entail administering a single system responsible for all volunteer programs (Beach Watch and SEALS) for the GFNMS in San Francisco, CA. Period of contract is for one year. Contract will include 1) developing a database for existing SEALS program, including analyzing data and entering into database; 2) recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for the SEALS program; and 3) manage all aspects of volunteer coordination for Beach Watch program inlcuding training volunteers. Although contract does entail database design and entry work, contract is primarily managerial in nature. Contract will consist of at least one full-time volunteer coordinator and one full-time data manager during contract period. (0178)
