Provide all plant, labor, materials, appliances, equipment, and supervision necessary to construct an armory, approximately 830 sf, in Building 1430, at Selfridge ANG Base MI. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of existing electrical, mechanical, and communication equipment, as well as the existing concrete floor and block walls, excavation for new foundation and reinforced concrete floor, construction of new eight (8) inch reinforced concrete block walls, concrete foundations and floor, installation of reinforced concrete ceiling and new light fixtures, the tiling of a new floor, installation of new high security Class 5 GSA approved steel vault door, including required framing, anchors, and hardware, the painting of exposed wall and ceiling surfaces, reinstallation of existing hot water radiators on new walls, and the installation of an emergency eye wash lavage. All work to be in strict accordance with the plans and specifications for Project VGLZ972002, "Construct Armory, Building 1430". The estimated magnitude of the project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Performance period is ninety (90) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This is an unrestricted solicitation. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 1542. The Contractor shall perform on the site, and with his own organization, work equivalent to at least twenty (20) percent of the total amount of work to be performed under the contract.
