The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport anticipates acquiring, on a Firm Fixed Price basis, a Submarine Satellite Information Exchange Subsystem (SSIXS) Antenna Assembly First Article Test unit and three (3) production units. Provisioned Item Ordering will also be part of the resultant contract. Options for First Article Testing, and up to forty (40) production units are also anticipated. An option for 4,000 hours of engineering services priced on a Time and Materials basis is also ant icipated. The SSIXS Antenna Assemblies will be fabricated according to Government build-to-print specifications A technical proposal will be required in response to the Request for Proposals. Offerors will be required to address Technical Approach, Past Performance, Management Approach and Facilities. The resulting contract will be awarded to the offeror submitting a technically acceptable proposal offering the Best Value to the Government.
