The contractor shall select a maximum of 250 stems of conifers and hardwoods per acre conforming to a minimum approximate 13 x 13 foot spacing and cut all competing trees and brush on three units consisting of a total of 82 acres. The project area which is approximately 35 miles eastward along Highway 36 from Alton, Ca on the Larabee Buttes access road. Pursuant to Public Law 104-208, which waives full and open competition for Jobs-in-the-Woods projects, only offers received from offerors located in the following counties will be considered for award.
