Provide a recovery and recycling process (RRP) at the contractor's facility for government supplied magnesium thorium (MgTh) alloys (i.e., aircraft skin panels, aircraft engine gear boxes, missile skin panels, nose cones, miscellaneous contaiminated metals) and nickel thorium (NiTh) alloys (i.e., engine diffuser cases, scrolls, stock sheet metal). Metal components that cannot be recovered or recycled shall be disposed by the contractor in accordance with the license issued by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and/or Agreement State and the laws of the state. The contract will be for the base year and four one-year option periods. The period of performance is 01 Oct 97-30 Sep 98. This solicitation will be issued approximately 21 Jul 97. This requirement is a small business set aside.
