R -- PROJECT SUPPORT SERVICES 2 SOL W81K04-7162-T001 POC Contract Specialist Shirley Casteel (210) 916-7085 FAX (210) 916-7663 (Site Code DADA10) The contractor shall provide services in total support of operation, maintenance,repair and construction and other projects in any phase(planned/projected/being performed) at any government facility located worldwide. Requirement includes all phases of project management from the concept development, planning, execution, commissioning, closeout, and decommissioning of vacated space or replaced equipment. Services ancillary to project management include furniture and furnishings, planning and transition management. Project Support Services provide capabilities to study facilities problems invloving space utilization and the assessment of building operating systems and installed building equipment e.g. facility master planning. Project Support Services also provides feasability studies relating to life cycle facility management. Construction management services include quality assurance and safety program management in all facets of construction and major repair of systems commonly found in hospitals, research laboratories and educational facilities. Provide services to assist with the implementation/updating of computerized maintenance management systems(CMMS). Services include inventory management, data management, and training. The Department of Defense standard CMMS is the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support Automated Information System. This will be a multi-awarded indefinite-delivery task order contract. This requirement will be a partial small business set-aside. Period of performance will be 01 November 97 (or date of award) through 30 September 98, with three one year option periods. The solicitation will be issued on or about 15 August 97. Offers will be due on or about 15 September 97. All requests for the solicitation must be in writing(FAX) to include name, address, telephone number, fax number, size of business and the solicitation number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
