Z -- OVERLAY BASE ROADS/PARKING LOTS AND OVERLAY MFH ROADS/PARKING LOTS!! SOL FA4416-97-B0025!! DUE 082297 POC Contract Specialist, Ellie Owens; Contracting Officer, Charles R. Buebe, 301-981-2374!! Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, etc. and perform all operations necessary to Overlay Base/Family Housing Roads and Parking Lots located on Andrews Air Force Base, MD. One job, 365 calendar day performance period. Estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This proposed contract will be a Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) with a base year and two one-year option years. There shall be no minimum yearly requirement and the maximum yearly requirement has been projected to be approximately $1,500,000.00. Individual delivery order requirements is set at $20,000.00 as minimum. Work includes, but is not limited to: (1) Repair deteriorated asphaltic concrete roadway pavements to include removal of existing surface and unsuitable base course and provide new crushed stone base and new asphalt base course; (2) Clean all loose material/debris and fill the joints with sand asphalt mix for existing asphaltic overlay over concrete slab; (3) Grind existing asphaltic concrete surface on both sides where curb exists and at intersections of the roadways receiving new overlay. Heel in new surfaces; (4) Raise manholes, valve boxes and inlets within the area to be resurfaced prior to placing of new overlay. Also provide new manhole rings; (5) Provide new bituminous tack coat, and new asphaltic concrete overlay. Also provide new asphaltic concrete wedge course; (6) Provide new line striping and traffic markings for roadways and parking lots receiving new overlay or seal coats. Contractor shall provide layouts with Government approval; (7) Provide top soil, seed, fertilizer, lime and mulch repair. Also provide top soil, fertilizer, lime and sod repair; (8) Remove existing spalled concrete curb and provide new curb for roadways and parking lots receiving new overlay to include backfill behind curb; (9) Remove existing concrete curb and provide backfill material compacted in place; and (10) Provide new concrete curb to include excavation and backfill behind curb. The proposed procurement listed herein is being issued as an unrestricted acquisition.
