Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials and supplies to conduct searches of appropriate geological formations to locate natural roost sites of endangered and or sensitive bat species. The search area shall be limited to that portion of the Barry M. Goldwater Range east of State Highway 85 in the Sand Tank and Sauceda Mountains. Of particular interest is the Lesser Long-nosed Bat (Leptonycteris curasoae yerbabuenae), a federally-listed endangered species. The Contractor shall provide recommendations for protection of caves deemed important to bats. The Contractor shall prepare a report detailing the findings of the survey.
