A/E services are required in the area of Mechanical discipline. Provide comprehensive architect/engineer services for the design of various in-house projects at any one of the three divisions of the Portland VA Medical Center. The scope of work may include the preparation of drawings, specifications, cost esimates, construction period services, site visits, and miscellaneous reports. Contract Performance will be one (Base ) year beginning with the date of award, with optional four (4), 1 year extensions. The total contract amount including all option years shall not exceed $500,000. Individual task orders shall not exceed $50,000. Selection criteria: 1. Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; 2. Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; 3. Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; 4. Past performance on contracts with the VA and other Government agencies in term of cost control, quality of work, compiance with work schedules; 5. Loacation in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality. The area of consideration is the local Portland Oregon & Vancouver Washington metropolitan area. A/E must have an existing production office within the geographic limitation. This procurement is 100% set aside for small emerging business. A small emerging business is defined as a firm's average annual receipts over the past 3 years is less than $1.25 million.
