R -- AFTAC TECHNICAL ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT SUPPORT 3 (ATEAMS 3) POC Daryl Gentry, Contract Specialist (407) 494-5228/John T Moore, Contracting Officer (407) 494-6217 The Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) has a requirement for Technical Engineering and Management Support 3 (ATEAMS 3). The contractor will provide scientific, engineering and management support to AFTAC, its supporting commands and other organizations involved with the U. S. Atomic Energy Detection System (USAEDS), treaty monitoring and arms control. AFTAC efforts involve the comprehensive research, development and operations and maintenance of systems to increase the understanding of the complicated technical problems associated with the detection and identification of nuclear events in the atmosphere, underground, and in space (including analysis of data collected by these systems). Contractor will write and/or review system/program management related documents, analyze scientific and engineering data, analyze and develop software programs and demonstration hardware systems. Specific tasks will vary and be directed by delivery orders. The total estimated price ceiling is to be increased, for the existing contract, with the current sole source contractor. SEE Note 22.
