Paragraph 17V, Solicitation Synopsis is modified as follows to include the SQUARE FOOTAGE for the base and optional years: 17(v). This acquisition has two line items each for the base and optional contract periods: LINE 1 is for HOT WATER EXTRACTION and LINE 2 is for Dry Chemical Extraction. The period of performance is 1 October 1997 -- 30 September 1998. Four one-year options may be awarded. For Hot Water Extraction the square footage is 1,000,000 for the base year and 4 optional periods. For Dry Chemical Extraction the square footage is 450,000 for the base year and the first optional year. The square footage is 500,000 for the next 3 year optional period.Bids will be provide for each line item for each year, to include price per square footage, for the base and optional periods (totaling five years). All work will be in accordance with the following Performance Work Statement for Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning for Areas A, B, and C dated 1 October 1997. (0182)
